When you have a problem with your pet and your regular veterinarian is not available, having an emergecncy clinic available becomes very important. The Airport Animal Emergi Center (AAEC) was established with that in mind.
Emergency Care
Emergency care involves stabilizing the patient and may include placing intravenous catheters, administering IV fluids, administering medications, oxygen therapy, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Our in-house laboratory, radiology and ultrasound capabilities enable us to get crucial diagnostic information very quickly. Our blood program guarantees that patients will have access to a safe and adequate blood supply. AAEC has a dedicated, fully-equipped surgical suite, should your pet’s condition require immediate surgical intervention.
Critical Care
AAEC is fully equipped and staffed to provide state-of-the-art intensive care medicine. Critical patients are closely monitored by our specially trained doctors, technicians and assistants. We offer continuous EKGs, oxygen support, fluid therapy, blood pressure and other advanced procedures.
